PHOENIX – An international data and analytics recruiter is opening an office in Tempe.

London-based Harnham said there would be 50 job openings at the new site near Scottsdale Road and Tempe Town Lake.

Harnham, founded in 2006, has two other American offices – New York and San Francisco – and a office in Berlin.

“Tempe is known as a technology hub within the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Harnham’s new Tempe office is a welcome addition to our dynamic, innovative community,” Mayor Corey Woods said in a Wednesday press release.

The Greater Phoenix Economic Council said 45 companies have relocated to the Valley in the past year, adding 10,000 jobs and $13 billion in capital investment.

“Arizona is an incredibly pioneering state,” Harnham CEO David Farmer said in the announcement.

“We knew our next move in the U.S. had to be within an area that was a growing hub of activity which we could support and scale alongside.”

Chris Camacho, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, said Harnham will benefit from the region’s large, skilled workforce.
