PHOENIX — Valleywise Health will soon be opening the doors to its newest health clinic in Maryvale in the West Valley, the organization announced Friday.
The new 26,000-square-foot clinic located at 75th Avenue and Thomas Road is scheduled to open its doors on Monday and will offer a range of services for its newest community, Valleywise Health said in a press release.
The facility will be a host to one of Valleywise Health’s Refugee Women’s Clinics to aid the growing population of refugees in the city, as well as to a family learning center that will provide resources to better the health of families, according to the release.
In addition to primary and pediatric care, the center will also offer OB/GYN and integrated behavioral health services.
“The continued expansion and upgrade of our community health center network has allowed Valleywise Health to make a greater impact on the health of our community,” Steve Purves, president and CEO of Valleywise Health, said in the release.
“With the opening of West Maryvale, pending opening of our new Mesa location in the new year and milestone of 50% completion on the new Valleywise Health Medical Center, we inch ever closer to delivering on our promise to Maricopa County voters to reimagine care for those most vulnerable.”
District Medical Group, a long time partner of Valleywise Health, will continue providing clinical staff for West Maryvale as in-person and telehealth appointments are available now, according to the release.
