PHOENIX — Beer lovers across the Valley will be hoppy to hear 25 restaurants and bars will be participating in the eighth annual Urban Ale Trail in downtown Phoenix on Saturday.

The event will take place in participating locations in the Downtown Core, Evans Churchill and Roosevelt neighborhoods from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Bars and restaurants participating in Ale Trail are set to offer various 4-ounce beer samples for $3 each to participants walking themselves through a self-guided tour, while also offering complimentary snacks, event organizers said in a press release.

The first 200 people taking part in Ale Trail will receive a complimentary commemorative 32-ounce growler at the recently debuted &More bar based inside the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown starting at 1 p.m.

About 36% of the sites participating in the beer tasting tour have opened within the past year. Some of those locations include Pa’La, Adams Table and 810 Billiards & Bowling, according to the release.

The trail can be completed in any order and doesn’t require pre-registration.

A full list of participating locations can be found online.

We want to hear from you.
