Police investigate death of 45-year-old woman shot in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Police are investigating the death of a woman who died from a gunshot wound in Phoenix Friday night.

Authorities responded to a report of unknown trouble around 10 p.m. near 40th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Upon arrival, officers found 45-year-old Cleopatra Johnson who had been shot and killed, Phoenix Police Sgt. Vincent Cole said in a statement.

No additional information was made available.
