Chandler police seek help identifying young suspect in bank robbery

PHOENIX — Chandler police are asking the public’s assistance in identifying a young man suspected of robbing a bank Tuesday afternoon.
The man is described as being between 18 to 20 years old, standing 5-foot-7 with a thin build and having dirty blond or brown hair, the Chandler Police Department said in a press release.
He allegedly entered a bank near the intersection of Queen Creek and Alma School roads around 1 p.m. and passed a note to a teller demanding money, authorities said.
The note referred to the man possibly having a gun, authorities said.
The man took the money and exited the bank, authorities said, running southwest through the area on foot.
