Oct 16, 2021, 5:00 AM

PHOENIX — People can begin buying their tickets now to the Holiday Light Experience at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale which is set to get underway in November.

Spanning 1.2 miles and including more than 5 million lights, the experience kicks off Nov. 19 and runs through Jan. 1. The experience is open in one-hour slots from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day, including all holidays.

Tickets can be bought online and a variety of options are available, from general admission to traveling through the light show on a small or large carriage. Prices vary by day and time, with general admission ranging from $35 to $45.

A designated FM radio signal will accompany the light show with holiday tunes.

The experience also includes Santa’s Village, which offers hot chocolate, beverages and snacks as well as distinctive and handcrafted gifts available for sale.

A Holiday Light Theatre is also being added to Santa’s Village this year, with the lights being presented on a 20×40 screen, and the experience is capped off with the holly jolly man himself – Santa Claus.

It is recommended people arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time to ensure the lines move quickly throughout the ticket scanning process.

The experience lasts about 30 minutes to drive through at the required speed limit of 3 mph.

We want to hear from you.
