PHOENIX — The smell of popcorn will once again fill the building at 1 Chandler Boulevard as LOOK Dine-In Cinema opens next week in the former home of Flix Brewhouse.

LOOK Dine-In Cinema promises to bring movie fans a full-service, technology-first theatre with nine screens when it opens on Thursday, according to a press release.

It will also offer an upscale cuisine menu including starters like a charcuterie board or triple dip and chips, entrees such as a barbeque chicken wrap, chicken tenders, St. Louis BQQ ribs and macaroni and cheese in addition to pizza, sushi, deluxe shakes and other desserts as well as popcorn.

People can also enjoy adult beverages with a menu of cocktails, liquor, various wines and beer.

The new location marks the first in Arizona for the company, with other theatres in California, Florida, New York and Texas.

LOOK Dine-In Cinema is also running a special for the grand opening by offering 25% off all food and non-alcoholic beverages through Oct. 28.

The theatre is also offering $5 movie tickets on Tuesdays as well as the first showing each day being available for $5, according to the release.

Flix Brewhouse, which opened in 2018, closed for good in September after being shuttered for the majority of the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to ABC15.
