PHOENIX — Eegee’s reintroduction into metro Phoenix will continue later this year when a location opens in Mesa, the fast food chain announced Tuesday.

The Tucson-based chain’s location near Crismon Road and U.S. 60 is set to open in November, according to a press release.

The restaurant will have 2,300 square feet of space, an eegee-only drive-thru window for the chain’s signature drink and a walk-up order window.

Eegee’s will host a job fair on Oct. 9 to hire 50 team members for positions including assistant managers, shift leads and crew members.

The job fair will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gilbert location at 3535 E. Baseline Road.

Eegee’s has previously said a second spot in Gilbert and restaurants in Phoenix and Scottsdale were also scheduled to open before the end of 2021.

Before the first Gilbert location opened in July, the closest Eegee’s location to metro Phoenix was in Casa Grande.

The company’s signature frozen treats have also been available at some Valley Blimpie sandwich shops.

Eegee’s has more than 20 locations across Tucson and has been in business since 1971.

We want to hear from you.
