PHOENIX — Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said he is prepared to “take all necessary actions” on findings from the audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 election, a Peoria police officer rescued a man from the balcony of a burning home, and more rain fell across the Valley as the conclusion of a busy monsoon season draws near.

Arizona AG Mark Brnovich to ‘take all necessary actions’ on election findings
Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said Friday he’s prepared to “take all necessary actions” in response to the results of the Arizona Senate’s review of the last year’s election in Maricopa County.
“I will take all necessary actions that are supported by the evidence and where I have legal authority,” Brnovich, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in 2022, said in a press release.
“Arizonans deserve to have their votes accurately counted and protected.”
Brnovich issued the release just before Cyber Ninjas and the other Senate contractors released the findings of their five-month review of the November 2020 election in metro Phoenix.
Peoria police officer catches man who jumped from 2nd story of burning home
Police in Peoria said one of their own rescued a man who jumped from the balcony of a burning home on Friday.
Peoria police received a call about someone screaming for help, possibly from a house that was ablaze, around 4 a.m. near Wing Parkway and High Desert Drive.
Upon arrival, Officer Kyle Trouton saw the house on fire and was told by neighbors that there was someone on the second story in the backyard.
The officer made his way through the side of the home and located a man on the balcony. As the property continued to burn, Trouton told the man he would catch him if he jumped.
Officer Trouton and the man were safe and nobody was injured in the fire.
East Valley, Phoenix hit by more rain, thunderstorms as monsoon season continues
More rain fell across the East Valley and parts of the Phoenix metro area Sunday morning, continuing one of the better monsoon seasons in Arizona’s recent history.
Most light showers passed east of Phoenix, with as much as .67 inches of rain falling in Mesa and .24 inches in Gilbert by 3 p.m., according to the Maricopa County Flood Control District rain gauges.
Areas in Scottsdale and Fountain Hills saw as much as .31 inches, while Cave Creek picked up .55 inches of rain.
Parts of Chandler and Tempe saw .16 inches of rain, with Phoenix receiving .12 inches.
This monsoon season, which starts annually on June 15 and ends Sept. 30, has documented nearly 4 inches of rain, marking it the second-best since record keeping began in 1896, according to ABC15’s Jorge Torres.
Arizona says it has plenty of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine supply for booster shots
Arizona has an ample supply of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for people eligible to get booster shots under new federal recommendations, the state health department said Friday.
“Rest assured there is plenty of Pfizer vaccine in Arizona to accommodate not just those needing booster doses, but those who need their first doses,” Don Herrington, Arizona Department of Health Services interim director, said in a press release.
“Our primary focus remains helping unvaccinated Arizonans make the lifesaving choice to take advantage of safe, free and highly effective COVID-19 vaccines.”
The third-shot recommendation is only for people whose previous doses were the Pfizer version, which is known commercially as Comirnaty after becoming the first COVID vaccine to receive full Food and Drug Administration approval.
FuelFest announces rescheduled date for Chandler event
FuelFest, a celebration of cars and racing, recently announced its rescheduled date for the Chandler event that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will take place Dec. 4 at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park and will be hosted by Cody Walker, brother of late actor Paul Walker, along with recording artist and actor Tyrese Gibson.
There will be car exhibitions with over 600 custom and exotic vehicles, live music, drag races and drifting displays as well as craft food and drinks, according to a press release.
