Sky Harbor terminal reopens after suspicious item checked out

PHOENIX – Operations at one Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport terminal were delayed temporarily Thursday morning because of a suspicious item, authorities said.

Terminal 4 was closed while the item was checked out.

The Phoenix Police Department said all was clear and the terminal was reopened just before 11 a.m.

Police said travelers and people picking up passengers should check the status of their flights.

No other information was immediately available.
