Motorcyclist dies after 2-vehicle collision on Baseline Road in Phoenix

PHOENIX – A motorcyclist who was rushed to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck Monday morning in Phoenix has died, authorities said.
Victor Jordan, 53, was traveling westbound on Baseline Road near 40th Street around 7 a.m. when an eastbound passenger car making a left turn collided with his motorcycle, according to a Phoenix Police Department press release.
Jordan was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition and later pronounced dead.
The car’s driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, police said. Impairment does not appear to be a factor, police said.
Baseline Road was restricted between 32nd and 40th streets during the investigation.
