PHOENIX — The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Kingman woman on multiple counts of arson, authorities said.
Angelica Ana Rose Pratt, 36, was arrested for two counts of arson of a property, and one count of arson of an occupied structure, the sheriff’s office said in a Friday press release.
Detectives and Kingman Fire Department investigators responded to a call on Thursday around 8:30 a.m. about reports of three Molotov cocktail-style bombs thrown at the caller’s home and vehicles on separate occasions, authorities said.
The caller said during the first two incidents, vehicles were damaged. The most recent incident damaged the person’s home, where a child also lives, authorities said.
Damage to the home and vehicles caused by mason jar incendiary devices were estimated by the victim to be around $8,000.
Detectives said a yellow price tag on the bottom of one of the jars linked it to a nearby business. With the help of its employees, detectives obtained video footage linking a silver SUV to the jar purchases and Pratt.
Pratt confessed to starting all three fires, and was arrested and taken to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, the sheriff’s department said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
