Silver Alert canceled after West Valley man with autism found safe

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert early Friday after the subject, a West Valley man with autism, was found safe.
The Silver Alert for 31-year-old Ian Lawrence Paul was issued Wednesday.
He’d been discovered missing by staff at the Next Level Group Home in Waddell around 6 a.m. that day.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Paul turned up at the house of his mother, who called authorities to tell them he was OK.
Paul has the social skills of a 10-year-old.
Waddell is an unincorporated community south of Surprise.
