2 men taken to emergency room after being ejected from cars in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Two men were taken to emergency rooms Saturday morning after being ejected following a two-vehicle collision in Phoenix, authorities said.

The incident happened near Interstate 10 and 7th Street at about 8:30 a.m., Phoenix Fire Captain Scott Douglas said in an email.

When officers arrived, they found the crashed vehicles with two adults ejected.

Both adults were taken to emergency departments by fire personnel in extremely critical condition, Douglas said.

Authorities said one adult is in his late 20’s and the other in his early 30’s.

The names of the men haven’t been released.

No other information was immediately available.
