Phoenix police searching for suspect in homicide case

Phoenix police are searching for the suspect in a homicide case.

At around 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, police responded to a call reporting a shooting at an apartment complex at 1611 West Osborn Road.

Upon arrival, police said they found 39-year-old Joseph Moreno suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Moreno was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Police said witnesses reported hearing an argument and then a gunshot but an actual encounter between the victim and a suspect was not seen.
