Crash closes Loop 101 southbound at 75th Avenue in Glendale

PHOENIX — A crash closed the southbound lanes of Loop 101 at 75th Avenue in Glendale on Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred near Union Hills Drive and all traffic was forced to exit the Agua Fria freeway at or before 75th Avenue, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The road reopened around 8 p.m.

Drivers had to use either 67th or 75th avenues to Bell Road to get back onto Loop 101, ADOT said.
