PHOENIX – Robot dinosaurs are invading the Phoenix area this week, but don’t fret.

Jurassic Quest, billed as the world’s largest and most popular dinosaur attraction, will rule the parking lot at Gila River Arena in Glendale from Friday until Sept. 5.

The family-friendly drive-thru event features a variety of more than 70 full-sized animatronic dinosaurs, including a 50-foot-long megalodon.

The experience includes a digital audio tour designed to entertain and educate.

Tickets for a timed entry slot, starting at $49 per carload, must be purchased in advance online. “Quest Pack” add-ons are available for additional fees.

Each admission comes with a souvenir photo of the vehicle in front of a dinosaur-themed backdrop.

The attraction will be open at the following times:

  • Aug. 27 (Friday): 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Aug. 28 (Saturday): 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
