We’ve heard about water shortages in Arizona for decades. Reports that Lake Mead is at the lowest water level since it was created, however, suggest that the problem is worsening and perhaps radically.

Our guests are:

• Todd Reeve, co-founder of Business for Water Stewardship.

• Kevin Moran, who directs strategy and operations for the Environmental Defense Fund Water Program in the seven Colorado River Basin states.

Paul Bentz joins the show’s final segment to discuss the politics of water in Arizona and shifting public attitudes on the subject.

We will discuss: how bad is the problem? Is it statewide or only in some areas? Who uses our water? Whose allocations are being cut currently and prospectively? Will these hit agriculture or urban areas?

The Think Tank airs on KTAR 92.3 FM on Saturday 6-7 p.m. and Sundays 9-10 p.m.

Podcasts are available after broadcast.
