Glendale Police seize more than $1 million worth of drugs in bust

PHOENIX — Glendale police officers seized more than $1 million in drugs and paraphernalia during a bust, authorities said Wednesday.
Detectives searched a home and car in the area of 75th Avenue and Thomas Road on Aug. 19, where they found the drugs and more than $20,000 in cash, the Glendale Police Department said in a press release.
More than 4 pounds of fentanyl powder, 200,000 fentanyl-laced pills, 5 pounds of cocaine and four firearms were seized by detectives, police said.
Five people were detained but no arrests have been made, according to police.
An investigation remains active.
Police haven’t released any further information.
