Young boy in extremely critical condition after drowing in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A young boy was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition after being found at the bottom of a pool in Phoenix on Sunday, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the drowning near Happy Valley Road and 43rd Avenue just before noon, the Phoenix Fire Department said in a press release.
The young boy was found by family pulseless and not breathing, authorities said.
Crews immediately began performing advanced life resuscitation on the child before the boy was rushed to the hospital.
The age of the boy was not provided.
