PHOENIX – A Silver Alert issued early Tuesday was canceled that afternoon after a neighbor found a Phoenix man who’d been missing since the previous night.

Jimmie Thomas, 74, has last been seen Monday walking near 19th Avenue and Greenway Road around 8:30 p.m.

He was safely recovered Tuesday by the Phoenix Police Department after a neighbor located him, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.

Thomas has a medical condition that makes him appear confused or disoriented.

Thomas is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has graying hair and brown eyes and was wearing a gray Chargers shirt and blue jeans.
