Tucson Border Patrol agent, another driver killed in head-on collision

PHOENIX — A U.S. border patrol agent was killed Saturday following a head-on collision with a motorist, authorities said. The other driver also died in the wreck.
Authorities responded to the fatal crash on State Route 86 near mile marker 128, outside of Sells, around 12:20 a.m.
Multiple response and law agencies, as well as a life flight, were requested to the scene, the Border Patrol statement said.
Both the agent and the other driver involved in the accident were pronounced dead a short time after the collision, the statement said.
No identities or additional information was made available.
