Desert Ridge Marketplace to host back-to-school celebration

PHOENIX– Desert Ridge Marketplace will host a back-to-school celebration to mark the end of the summer on August 5.

Families can participate in the Bye, Bye Summer Bash with activities such as live entertainment, prizes, photo-ops and a supply drive for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.

The first 100 guests can grab a free goodie bag with some special deals from retailers and other surprises.

Students can also stop at the decorating zone, where they can decorate their folders, notebooks and backpacks.

Activities are available on a limited basis from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the splash pads near the AMC Theatres location.
