Injury crash blocks eastbound Loop 202 in Tempe

PHOENIX – An injury accident temporarily blocked traffic on an East Valley freeway Friday morning, authorities said.
Eastbound lanes on Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway at Priest Drive in Tempe were all blocked by the multivehicle crash around 6 a.m.
Lanes reopened less than an hour later, but traffic was backed up.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said three vehicles were involved in the collision.
