Missing Valley man with memory issues found safe

PHOENIX – A Valley man with memory issues who was missing overnight has been found safe, authorities said early Tuesday.

Victor Wise, 72, who had last been seen around 8:30 p.m. on Monday driving away from his Sun City West home at Stardust Boulevard and Sunglow Drive.

A Silver Alert had been activated for him. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said his wife told them he wasn’t familiar with the area.

Glendale Police Department officers found Wise and he was taken back home.

No other details were released.
