Phoenix police search for suspect after woman fatally shot ordering food

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is looking for a suspect after a woman was shot and killed while ordering from a food truck Sunday morning, authorities said.
Police responded to the area near McDowell Road north of the Loop 202 around 3:30 a.m. about a reported shooting.
Destiny McClain, 23, was found with life-threatening injuries and transported to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
Further investigation lead police to believe the unknown suspects were shooting from a car in the area, with the gunfire traveling in the direction of McClain and striking her.
Police have no viable suspect description.
