Kohl’s Corp., down $9.89 to $64.62

The department store operator reported better-than-expected first quarter profit, but its sales fell short of forecasts.

Avon Products Inc., up 40 cents to $7.07

The direct seller of cosmetics said it could not confirm that an investment firm that purportedly offered an $8 billion takeover bid exists.

Puma Biotechnology Inc., down $39.05 to $170.67

The biotechnology company reported disappointing results from a breast cancer drug study.

Prestige Brands Holdings Inc., up $1.76 to $43.41

The medicine distributor reported better-than-expected fiscal fourth-quarter results and gave a positive outlook.

Sally Beauty Holdings Inc., down 24 cents to $30.91

The beauty products seller confirmed that it has suffered its second data breach in just over two years.

Nasdaq

Ctrip.com International Ltd., up $5.78 to $71.14

The Chinese travel services company reported better-than-expected first-quarter results and issued a positive outlook.

Perry Ellis International Inc., up $2.06 to $26.09

The clothing maker reported better-than-expected first-quarter results and raised its earnings guidance for the year.

Cypress Semiconductor Corp., up 49 cents to $13.14

The semiconductor company is proposing to buy Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. for $19.75 per share, topping another offer.
