Nearly $380K, drugs, firearms seized by Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office

PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office seized drugs, firearms and nearly $380,000 in cash on Wednesday.
Search warrants were served across three separate locations in connection to a suspect who the Maricopa County Drug Suppression Task Force identified as being involved in trafficking cocaine and marijuana within the state and throughout the country, using the United States Postal Service, according to a press release.
The team also found approximately 46 pounds of marijuana, 415 vape carts, 11 handguns, 16 grams of cocaine, four rifles, over three pounds of mushrooms and approximately $380,000 in cash.
“MCSO will continue to investigate and aggressively pursue criminals who threaten the safety of our community,” Sheriff Penzone said in the release.
Twenty-year-old’s Tayden Bolton, Matthew Maddigan and Issac Mercado were booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail in Phoenix for charges stemming from this investigation, authorities said.
