PHOENIX — Two more suspects have been arrested in connection to the unrest at Scottsdale Fashion Square last May, police said Tuesday.

Both Ivan Nunez-Mendoza and Seneca Rodriguez were arrested on May 26 on felony charges of burglary. Nunez-Mendoza was booked and released.

Authorities have now arrested 64 people in connection to the night of unrest on May 30 and 31 of last year in which multiple stores were vandalized and broken into, resulting in millions of dollars in damages.

Nunez-Mendoza allegedly broke into the Mercedes-Benz dealership and stole sunglasses.

He was captured on dealership surveillance video tipping over a display and removing merchandise from the dealership, according to authorities.

Rodriguez was seen with Nunez-Mendoza on the surveillance video, authorities said, and was seen entering the dealership, damaging property and stealing sunglasses.

No property was recovered in either arrest.

Authorities over the course of the last year have recovered over $244,000 worth of merchandise that has been returned to the businesses.

The night of unrest resulted in the Scottsdale Fashion being closed for just under two weeks.

Authorities say they are still investigating the case and following up on evidence, tips and information.
