Valley drivers to face closures on Loop 101, I-10 this weekend

PHOENIX — Drivers will face closures on Loop 101 in the north Valley and Interstate 10 near downtown Phoenix this weekend.
Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between Seventh Street and State Route 51 from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Both Interstate 17 ramps to eastbound Loop 101 will also be closed, as well as eastbound Loop 101 on-ramps at 27th, 19th and Seventh avenues.
Eastbound I-10 will be closed between the I-17 “Stack” interchange and Seventh Street from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday for a tunnel lighting project.
Both I-17 ramps to eastbound I-10 at the Stack and the eastbound I-10 HOV lane on-ramp at Third Street will be closed.
In the Scottsdale area, Loop 101 southbound will be narrowed to one lane with the HOV lane open between Chaparral and Thomas roads from 11 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for resurfacing.
The southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Indian School Road will also be closed.
In Tempe, the westbound US 60 HOV lane ramp to westbound I-10 in Tempe will be closed from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday for pre-construction survey work.
The westbound I-10 left lane will also be closed between US 60 and State Route 143.

The primary westbound US 60 ramp to westbound I-10 will remain open.
Near Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, the westbound I-10 off-ramp at 24th Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for pavement repair.
