Drive-in style Fourth of July show coming to Chandler Tumbleweed Park

PHOENIX — The city of Chandler will be hosting a drive-in style Fourth of July fireworks show at Tumbleweed Park, officials announced Wednesday.

The show is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. and will last approximately 20 minutes.

“This year’s fireworks show will continue to give the community an opportunity to have fun while responsibly staying safe and celebrating our nation’s independence,” Hermelinda Llamas, special events coordinator, said in a press release.

Chandler residents will be given priority access to purchase passes through June 17 before general sales open to the the public on June 18.

Admission into the event will require a $5 parking pass.

Park goers will be allowed to sit on their truck beds, around their car or in the nearby grass area, according to the release.

Tumbleweed Park is located on the southwest corner of McQueen and Germann roads.
