PHOENIX – A 28-year-old man was arrested Sunday morning for his involvement in the death of a Scottsdale resident found in Papago Park last week, authorities said.
Edward Nichole Hughes was arrested by Scottsdale police on felony charges related to the death of 29-year-old Julian Fraco Gonzales.
The Phoenix Police Department picked up the case on May 23 but turned it over to Scottsdale police two days later when evidence was discovered that linked the case to a Scottsdale residence.
Hughes was a known acquittance of Gonzales, authorities said in a press release.
This case is still on-going. Anyone with information related to this investigation is asked to contact the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-TIPS (8477).
