PHOENIX — Discount flyer Allegiant is expanding its Valley presence by offering flights out of Phoenix Sky Harbor for the first time.

The airline will begin offering twice-weekly service to Provo, Utah, on Oct. 8 and to Stockton, California, on Oct. 15.

Allegiant primarily operates from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and is offering discounted fares to celebrate the announcement.

Fares to Provo and Stockton will begin at $38 for one-way flights and must be purchased by Wednesday.

The airline will also begin flights to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from Gateway Airport on Aug. 19, with one-way fares starting as low as $89.

“Travelers are increasingly looking forward to taking some long-overdue vacations and reconnecting with friends and family,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning, said in a press release.

“We are thrilled to offer affordable access to three new cities to help travelers bring those plans to life, without the hassle of connections and layovers.”

We want to hear from you.
