4-year-old, 2 adults hospitalized after car crash on Mesa freeway

PHOENIX — Two adults and a 4-year-old were taken to hospital in critical condition after a rollover accident on the Loop 202 Freeway and McDowell Road, the Mesa Fire and Medical Department said Saturday night.
Around 8:10 p.m., the department responded to a call that the vehicle had rolled over and ejected the occupants.
The crew said that it was a single-vehicle accident. The cause of the accident was not provided, and the crash remains under investigation.
A woman in her 20s, a man in his 30s and the four-year-old child were taken to the hospital.
The westbound 202 freeway was closed at McDowell Road. The eastbound lanes were unaffected.
