PHOENIX — Z’Tejas has again pushed back the grand opening date of its new Scottsdale location, the company announced Monday.
Originally scheduled to debut June 14, the opening day was moved to June 23 before now being pushed to July 21.
Z’Tejas will donate 20% of sales from the grand opening of its new location at 8300 N. Hayden Rd. to the HonorHealth Foundation, according to a press release.
In addition to its usual offerings, the new location will also feature a breakfast and brunch menu that will be served during the week from 9 a.m. to noon and until 2 p.m. on the weekends.
Menu items include kahlua and agave french toast, capitol beef barbacoa omelet and carnita chilaquiles.
The Scottsdale location will be open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., while closing at 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
While the company prepares for the new location to open, the decision was made to close the restaurant located on Shea and Tatum boulevards on June 6.
“We worked hard to keep it open but were ultimately not able to,” Robby Nethercut, chief operations officer at Z’Tejas, said in the release.
“We hope our loyal guests will come visit the new location not far away.”
