PHOENIX — The Arizona-based Bashas’ grocery chain will hold a statewide job fair on Saturday as it looks to fill more than 700 full-time and part-time positions at its family of stores.

The job fair will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its Chandler distribution center at 125 S. 54th St., as well as at 114 grocery stores across the state, according to a press release.

Applications can be completed in advance online.

The grocer that also operates Food City and AJ’s Fine Foods is looking for a variety of positions for its stores including hourly clerks and store managers, bakers and meat cutters, sushi chefs, dishwashers and night crew, according to the release.

Applicants can complete paperwork, be interviewed and have the opportunity to be hired on the spot at the job fairs, according to the release.

Face masks, social distancing and a health/temperature check will be required.

The grocery chain – one of the largest employers in the state – offers flexible hours, benefits, a grocery discount, competitive pay as well as professional development, growth and advancement opportunities, according to the release.
