Silver Alert issued for missing 25-year-old Phoenix woman

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was issued Saturday for 25-year-old Phoenix woman with a cognitive delay.

Amanda Carvalho was last seen in the area of 23rd Avenue and Bell Road around 5 p.m. wearing a long sleeve San Francisco 49ers shirt, multi-colored pajama pants and blue shoes.

Carvalho has a cognitive delay that may prevent her from asking for help, and has a noticeable limp and
limited use of her right arm, authorities said.

Carvalho stands at 5-foot-7 and weighs 150 pounds, with curly brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Carvalho’s whereabouts is asked to call Phoenix police at 602-534-2121.
