PHOENIX — Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill will be hosting a pair of job fairs over the next two weeks at both Valley locations as the restaurant is looking to hire more than 40 employees.

The job fair will be held Thursday as well as May 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chandler location (7221 W. Ray Rd.) and the location in Phoenix (10625 N. Tatum Blvd.).

The restaurant is hiring for all positions including front of house, managers, servers, bartenders, runners, kitchen staff including prep and grill cooks and more, according to a press release.

Light food and drinks will be served to applicants.

A loyalty bonus of $100 will also be awarded to all employees after completing 160 hours of work, not including training hours, according to the release.

Both restaurants are open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

A third Valley location is coming to Scottsdale in the Mercado del Lago Plaza, the restaurant announced in December. Originally scheduled to open in February, the restaurant said on Facebook the new location is “a bit away from our grand opening, but it’s coming soon.”

Along with its Valley locations, Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill also has two restaurants in Austin, Texas.

The menu features a variety of items including shrimp tostada bites, Santa Fe enchiladas, diablo pasta and a rotating seasonal menu highlighting specialty dishes and drink pairings.

We want to hear from you.
