Arrest made in fatal collision related to street racing incident in Phoenix

PHOENIX — An arrest has been made in a street racing incident that resulted in the death of a 28-year-old woman on Sunday night, authorities said Tuesday.
Police booked 34-year-old Andrew Friedlander into jail on Monday evening for manslaughter after being released from the hospital.
Witnesses told police an Infiniti, allegedly driven by Friedlander, and a black Camaro were traveling side by side at a high rate of speed westbound on Indian School Road around 9:30 p.m. when the Infiniti struck the woman in a Jeep as she was making a left-hand turn from Indian School Road.
The woman, identified as Charissa Coleman, was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Friedlander was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still looking for the driver of the Camaro who fled the scene after the collision, according to police.
