PHOENIX – Home improvement chain Lowe’s is making noise in Arizona with a plan to hire more than 600 employees in two cities.

The company wants to fill 624 positions at stores in metro Phoenix and Prescott and is accepting in-person applications for Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., a spokeswoman said.

On-the-spot interviews will be available, the company said.

Openings include supervisors, cashiers, retail associates, stockers and drivers. Some jobs are fulltime, part-time and seasonal.

Prospective workers must be at least 18.

“Our associates drive our success in making homes better for all, and we are committed to enabling everyone who touches our business to thrive and contribute to that success,” Janice Dupre, Lowe’s executive vice president of human resources, said in a press release.

Sign-ups aren’t necessary ahead of time, but are available at the North Carolina-based seller’s website.

There are nearly two dozen Lowe’s locations in metro Phoenix.

We want to hear from you.
