PHOENIX — The Westgate Entertainment District announced on Monday the return of its free, weekly outdoor activities in Fountain Park.

The weekly series that includes hot rod night, bike night and live music will run on select dates from April 28 through May 26, and is open to all ages.

On select Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m., classic cars and hot rods will return for a car show, while a variety of bike makes and models will line Coyotes Boulevard and Westgate Boulevard every Thursday in May from 5-9 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own foldable chairs or blankets for an evening of live music every Friday and Saturday from 7-10 p.m. in Westgate’s Fountain Park.

During these times, several shops and restaurants will offer discounts and happy hour specials for guests.

More information on each activity can be found online.

The district encourages all visitors to continue following health and safety practices and CDC recommendations, including physical distancing and mask usage.

On days with major events at Gila River Arena or State Farm Stadium, the complex will charge $15 per car to park in its lots, while offering a redeemable validation parking program.

Free parking will be offered on non-arena or stadium event days.

Additional parking information can be found online.

We want to hear from you.
