PHOENIX — A man was in critical condition and two others were injured during a bee attack at a Phoenix motel, authorities said Wednesday.
Crews arrived at the motel near Thomas Road and 48th street and discovered a 37-year-old man had been stung numerous times after a swarm of bees was disturbed.
Two others were minimally stung and did not require transportation via ambulance, according to the release.
Authorities aren’t sure what made a swarm of bees become aggressive and a beekeeper was en route to assess the bees and determine the necessary action.
No other information was immediately available.
