PHOENIX — Forbes released its annual list of world billionaires on Tuesday and Arizona was once again represented.

The Grand Canyon State had 10 individuals make the list of 2,755 billionaires, led by used car dealer Ernest Garcia II at $15.9 billion.

Garcia overtook Los Angeles Angels owner Arte Moreno, 2020’s top Arizonan, for the honor.

Eight of the 10 who made the list saw their net worth increase from 2020 despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Amazon’s Jeff Bezos was the world’s richest person for the fourth consecutive year, worth $177 billion.

Tesla’s Elon Musk jumped to the No. 2 spot with $151 billion.

The billionaires were worth a total of $13.1 trillion, up from $8 trillion in 2020.
