PHOENIX — Valley residents now have a new place to grab a healthy snack.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe opened Friday near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Thompson Peak Parkway in Scottsdale.

The restaurant features a wide variety of smoothie options, as well as wraps, flatbreads, quesadillas and sandwiches.

The smoothie joint also has a spring inspired menu with seasonal items such as a starfruit smoothie, dragon fruit smoothie, citrus garlic Hawaiian wrap, roasted jalapeno corn salad and maple-kissed sweet potatoes available through May 25.

“Tropical Smoothie Cafe is one of the fastest-growing concepts in the country and I am excited to bring the brand to the north Scottsdale community,” Scott Palmateer, owner of the Scottsdale location, said in a press release.

“We know residents in the area will respond well to our tropical spirit and always fresh menu.”

The cafe is open Monday through Saturday 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Smoothies and meals can be ordered for pickup and delivery online or through the franchise’s app.
