PHOENIX – Just as March Madness has gotten underway, popular national sports bar chain Buffalo Wild Wings will open two takeout sites in Phoenix soon, the company announced.

A to-go location will debut at 44th Street and Thomas Road at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. The other, at 12th Street and Bell Road, will open March 31. They both will offer limited seating.

“I am thrilled to introduce two new Buffalo Wild Wings GO models in Phoenix,” Lyle Tick, company president, said in a press release Thursday.

“Our takeout and delivery business grew significantly in 2020.”

Each GO location features a walk-up counter and digital menu boards. Food choices include the usual traditional and boneless chicken wings, tenders and sandwiches.

Customers who prefer contactless pick up can get their meals from heated lockers inside the restaurants.

The eateries will be open until 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until midnight Friday-Saturday.

During the grand openings, the restaurant’s foundation will hand over a pair of $5,000 grants to Valley nonprofits Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix and New Pathways for Youth.

We want to hear from you.
