Suspect arrested for murder of 74-year-old man in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A suspect was arrested for the February murder of a 74-year-old man who was walking along a Phoenix street, authorities said Thursday.
Marcus Williams, 40, was charged with one count of murder in the death of Juanito Falcon, according to Phoenix police.
Falcon was walking near 17th Avenue and Bethany Home Road on Feb. 16 at about 11:20 a.m. when he was attacked by Williams, police said.
Authorities haven’t uncovered a motive for the attack. Williams was arrested Wednesday after detectives linked him to the attack, according to police.
Falcon died at a hospital two days after the incident from injuries sustained to his head, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
