PHOENIX — Looking for a place to eat, a shop or your gate at the airport has become easier after Phoenix Sky Harbor launched an interactive online map on Friday.
The detailed map shows guests where they can find anything within Terminals 3 and 4, including security checkpoints, ticket kiosks, restaurants, shops, restrooms, charging stations, elevators, stairs, nursing stations and PPE vending machine locations.
The new tool also features maps of the Rental Car Center and Swift Aviation.
A search bar allows users to enter specifically what they are looking for, while categories such as restaurants, shop and relax offer browsing opportunities to see what is available.
Each restaurant and shop location shows its hours, phone number and website when clicked on.
When a visitor finds the location they want to go to, the map offers directions with the most direct route from their current spot. The directions are just like a GPS, with a step-by-step on how to get there and how long it will take to walk.
The airport’s map can be helpful for parking too. By zooming in on the parking structures for each terminal, visitors can find out the hourly and daily max rates.
Sky Harbor’s map works on smartphones, computers or tablet devices and does not require downloading a separate app.
