APS employees always go above and beyond to make their customers happy, and this time they’re going 200 feet high.
The company recently acquired a new tool for transmission line maintenance, called the Condor Bucket Truck.
The largest articulating insulated boom in North America, it can lift APS linemen as high as a 20-story building to repair even the highest lines. And because it’s insulated up to 750,000 volts, workers don’t have to take the lines out of service for maintenance while they work.
The Condor also dispatches quickly, so any outages can be fixed even faster than before.
The new Condor Bucket Truck demonstrates APS’s commitment to customer service, which is one of the reasons they are a “World Class Arizona” company.
