Grand Canyon park rangers find body of missing woman at South Rim

PHOENIX — The body of a missing California woman was located Tuesday at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, authorities said.
Lillian Meyn, 31, of Woodside, California, was found about 300 feet below the rim by National Park Service rangers near Trailview Overlook along the Hermit Road.
Meyn was reported missing by a family member on Monday.
Her vehicle was located near the Bright Angel Lodge later that day, NPS said.
NPS and the Coconino County Medical Examiner will conduct an investigation into the incident.
No other information was immediately available.
