As more eyes turn to the pilot of the still-missing Malaysian Air flight MH 370, his son has said he’s ignored speculation that points to his father being culpable for the plane’s disappearance.
According to NBC News, Ahmad Seth has said rumors that his father, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, was a religious fanatic are untrue.
“I’ve read everything online, but I’ve ignored all the speculation,” the 26-year-old language student said. “I know my father better. We may not be as close as he travels so much, but I understand him.”
Seth also said he will not give up hope that his father is alive until he sees evidence.
